Which Celebrity Headphones Do You Need?

Which Celebrity Headphones Do You Need?

It’s funny how trends cycle. In 2018, over-the-headphones surged into popularity when Apple partnered with Beats by Dre to give away a pair with every laptop purchased. Soon, my college campus was littered with people looking like off-duty DJ’s.

With the rise of AirPods, headphones took a backseat. Soon, it wasn’t cool to have any earpiece showing…not even a wire.

And now we are back, quite quickly. Seven years later, headphones are back in trend…and every single celebrity is getting a collab.

Cincinnati Bengals’ QB, Joe Burrow, paired with Bose. Olivia Rodrigo made a set with Sony. Kim Kardashian and Beats were the OG. Suki Waterhouse and Sonos.

In terms of marketing, it makes perfect sense. You want to use the same headphones that your fave celebrity does. A lot of people base their purchasing decisions not on how well things work, but who’s wearing it.

I know so many people who are shopping for headphones during the holiday season…so there’s no better time to make a comprehensive list of which celebrity-endorsed headphones are for you!

Beats x Kim

We’ll start with Beats x Kim, which has been an ongoing collaboration for a while now. In trendy neutral shades like “Moon” and “Dune,” she reimagines the Studio Pros in her classic style.

In 2022, Kardashian released the same collaboration with Beats and Apple – their most successful collaboration to date. Whether you like earbuds or headphones, Kim has created a fashionable listening device for you.

If you’re a fan of neutral colors, these are the headphones for you.

Joe Burrow x Bose QuietComfort Ultra

Joe Burrow isn’t merely the NFL’s heartthrob, he’s also the face of Bose. Whether you opt for the Bose QuietComfort Headphones or the Earbuds, you can guarantee these are the quarterback’s favorite earphones come Sunday.  Their site reads:

“One of the biggest names in the game, Bengals QB Joe Burrow taps into music to get his mind right for game day. Now with Bose Immersive Audio, he gets the realest sound there is to help push himself to play his best every Sunday.”

With world class noise cancellation and immersive listening unlike any other brand, these headphones will help you lock in whenever you need.

Suki Waterhouse x Sonos Ace Headphones

Suki Waterhouse is the face of the first ever Sonos celebrity campaign. Suki is a model, actress, singer, and recent first-time-mother who’s always on-the-go. And what does every busy multi-hyphenate need? A fine pair of noise-cancelling headphones.

Waterhouse says this campaign was the most fun she’s ever had…and she also shares with NYLON that the Sonos headphones are one item she can’t live without. If it’s good enough for Suki, it’s good enough for you.

Olivia Rodrigo x Sony LinkBuds Fit

Olivia Rodrigo is always associated with the color purple…so it comes as no surprise that these Sony LinkBuds are in Rodrigo’s signature shade. It’s one of the many selling points for the Sony LinkBuds that make you want to add-to-cart immediately.

The fun part about these earbuds is that they feature two custom EQ’s – selected by Rodrigo and her producer – that give you optimum listening for her albums. You will never hear SOUR or GUTS the same way again.

These are fantastic for your purse or commute to work. You don’t have to worry about finding space for them, and they charge in the cute purple case while patiently waiting to be used.

AirPods

If you want the celebrity endorsed product, then it has to be Apple’s AirPods. Oprah has raved about them, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Hailey Bieber, Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, and more have been photographed wearing them.

They’re the “It Girl” of earbuds and they’re continuously duped for a reason. Every celebrity ever has a pair of these – I can just about guarantee that. Once Apple took the wires out of headphones, we were hooked.
