Best all-natural coffee creamer – Nestlé Coffeemate Natural Bliss
I’m not one of those “I need coffee” people in order to start the day like a normal human being, and too much caffeine makes me feel like I’ve stuck a wet finger in an electric socket. But I do enjoy a cup of coffee, iced or hot, every now and then for its great taste.
OK, well it’s not really the taste of the coffee alone I’m after. I can usually only stomach a cuppa Joe that’s been sweetened and lightened. Creamers are delicious, and the flavor options are nearly endless – just peruse any supermarket shelf coffee and/or dairy aisle. But many folks aren’t aware of all of the junk most creamers contain to give them a long shelf life and a spectacular taste.
For example, as per Prevention, “Most store-bought coffee creamers aren’t actually made with cream. Instead, they get their rich, velvety mouthfeel from thickening agents and emulsifiers like carrageenan, a thickener thought to cause inflammation and digestive problems.” Many flavors are artificial and some are loaded with partially hydrogenated oils which are trans fats. According to Prevention, “These highly processed fats are downright dangerous, raising levels of bad cholesterol, and put you at higher risk for heart disease.”

Until Nestlé Coffeemate Natural Bliss liquid creamer came to my attention, I didn’t really give much thought about what was in the creamers I was enjoying. All I was interested in was whether I’d choose hazelnut or French vanilla. That said, once I learned about the gunk and goo most of the well-known creamers listed among their ingredients, Natural Bliss seemed like the natural and, well, blissful way to go.
No added growth hormones and no GMO ingredients are added to Natural Bliss creamers. As a perfect example, their Sweet Cream (how good does that sound?) flavor simply contains nonfat milk, heavy cream, sugar, and natural flavor. One serving only sets you back a mere 30 calories and there’s a scant 1.5g fat per pour.
If Sweet Cream sounds sweet but doesn’t perk up your coffee quite enough, consider Vanilla Almond Milk, Chocolate, Cinnamon Cream, or Caramel, to name a few more of Natural Bliss’ mouthwatering flavors.
